2022 January news

With the increasing number of positive COVID-19 Omicron cases widespread in the community, we held our January general meeting by video. We had 23 members attend, which is a good turnout for this time of year and the reluctance of some members to participate by video.

Most other events were interrupted, but we were able to hold a very well attended monthly morning tea at Pie in the Sky. It was good to catch up with members we hadn’t seen since our Christmas Lunch in mid December. Although it was overcast and we had a light shower of rain on arrival, it stayed fine for the rest of the time.

We were also able to get a group together for an Amble along part of the Warrimoo Track at Bobbin Head. We are looking forward to a cautious return to in-person meetings and other events in February.
